Elegance Magazine : la célébration de l’Afrique par Lady Chilel Sarr

Lady Chilel Sarr parcourt le monde pour valoriser l’Afrique à travers ses dignes fils, à travers sa publication Elegance Magazine.

Ils sont chefs d’Etat, Premières Dames, leaders d’opinions, chefs d’entreprises, entre autres, que la jeune dame rencontre en partant de son Banjul natal, en Gambie, pour parler d’eux.

Elegance Magazine, c’est aujourd’hui plus de 50 numéros et 14 ans de réalisation d’un rêve nourri par Lady Chilel pour « célébrer les Gambiens et leurs histoires – des présidents aux héros du quotidien, en passant par la femme ordinaire », dit-elle.

Elle résume ainsi le chemin : « Au fil des années, nous avons eu le privilège de présenter d’éminents dirigeants africains, notamment les présidents Bola Tinubu et Umaro Sissoco Embaló, la Première Dame de Gambie et d’éminents gouverneurs nigérians, avec des milliers d’exemplaires de notre magazine atteignant un large public. Nous avons également présenté d’éminents gouverneurs de la République fédérale du Nigéria. Parmi eux, l’ancien gouverneur de l’État de Katsina, notre premier article sur un gouverneur. Nos articles ont également présenté avec brio les gouverneurs des États de Niger, de Kano et de Jigawa, pour n’en citer que quelques-uns ».

Le travail remarquable de Lady Chilel Sarr, éditrice et PDG d’Elegance, a été reconnu récemment par son choix parmi les « 100 personnalités les plus influentes d’Afrique », pour « sa contribution à la promotion de l’excellence africaine ».

Et elle continue de plus belle, avec dans la foulée encore une rencontre très marquante. « Je suis ravie d’avoir rencontré la Vice-Secrétaire générale des Nations Unies, Amina Mohammed, le 30 septembre, pour partager mon parcours et proposer un article inspirant : mettre en avant son travail remarquable en couverture de notre magazine. Ce moment marque véritablement une étape importante dans mon parcours ! », informe-t-elle v Instagram.

Lady Chilel de poursuivre : « Notre discussion a porté sur le service inestimable que la Vice-Secrétaire générale des Nations Unies rend à l’humanité et aux nations du monde entier, les projets de développement qu’elle promeut dans les pays africains et dans d’autres parties du monde, son soutien aux femmes, entre autres services dans son rôle et ses fonctions au sein du système des Nations Unies ».

Lady Chilel Sarr travels the world to promote Africa through her worthy sons, through her publication Elegance Magazine.
